Note: Curiously, this specimen was not issued prior to the integration of Kutch State into the Union of India. When the last ruler of Kutch, Raja Madan Singhji, died in Surrey, UK, on 21st June 1991, his eldest son Prithviraj Singhji carried forward the royal tradition and assumed the title of H.H. Maharajadhiraja Mirza Maharao Shri Pragmalji III Sawai Bahadur, Maharao of Kutch. The coronation took place at the Tila-Medi of the Prag Mahal Palace in Bhuj on 17th October 1991. This coin (or token) was privately issued to mark the occasion. Issued in the names of their Royal Highnesses Pragmalji III and Queen Pritidevi of the Royal House of Tripura, it bears the legend “Jai Ashapuramaa,” a tribute to the presiding deity of the Kutchi-Jadeja rulers. The denomination reads Kutchi Kori.&nbsp;
