It was during this period that a number of&nbsp;minor and short-lived mints&nbsp;emerged, including&nbsp;Koilkonda, Amarchinta, Arki, Charikonda, Gurmatkal, Medak, Maktal, Musheerabad, Tahniyatnagar,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jatprole, alongside the better-known&nbsp;Qamarnagar&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dilshadabad. <o:p></o:p>The&nbsp;Koilkonda issue&nbsp;represents one of the rarest coinages from this era of fragmented authority in the Deccan — a fascinating relic of regional assertion during the decline of Mughal power.
