Vijayanagara Empire, Tuluva Dynasty, Krishnadevaraya (1509-1529 CE), Gold 1/2 Varaha, Obv: Balakrishna seated cross-legged, accosted by a conch (right) and a discus (left), with his left hand resting on his left knee and his right hand holding a lump of butter, a beaded bracelet, armlets and anklets adorning his chubby limbs, Rev: Nagari legend “Shri pra/tapa krishna/raya” in three lines with interlinear rules, 1.67g, 9.98mm, (Dr. M. Girijapathi # 161), almost complete details on both the sides, about extremely fine, Very Rare in this condition.
