Humayun (In Exile: AH 947-962 /1540-1555 AD),&nbsp;Kabul Mint, Silver Shahrukhi, AH (9)52, 'Badshah Ghazi' in Hexagonal type, Obv: Arabic legend The Kalima Shahada with "Allah yarzuq main yasha'u ba ghair hisab" within a wavy quaterfoil &amp; four Caliphs' names at the margin, Rev: Arabic legend "al sultan-ul-azam al khaqan al mukarram, khuld Allahu ta'ala dhatahu wa mulkahu wa sultanahu", “zarb Kabul”&nbsp;at the left margin &amp; "Muhammad Humayun Badshah Ghazi" within a hexafoil, 4.53g, 26.90mm, test marks, superb choice quality, about extremely fine, Extremely Rare in this grade.

Note: This Shahrukhi, dated AH 952, was struck during the early phase of Humayun’s return to power at Kabul. His recovery of Kabul followed his period of exile in Persia, where the support of Shah Tahmasp provided him with the military assistance required to re-establish himself in the region.The position, however, remained unstable. Kamran Mirza continued to contest control of Kabul, leading to further struggles between AH 953 and AH 954 before Humayun was able to secure his authority more firmly.The AH 952 date is therefore of particular interest, as it places this coin within the short initial phase of Humayun’s second period of rule at Kabul, before the renewed conflict with Kamran. It represents an early issue from this restored phase of his reign.
