Note: Lakshmidevi/Lashumadevi, the daughter of Kholeshwara-the military commander serving King Singhana of the Yadava dynasty-was married to Kanharadeva (Krishna). Kanharadeva had a younger brother named Mahadeva. Since Kanharadeva’s son, Ramachandra, was still a minor, he named Mahadeva as his successor.Queen Lashumadevi strongly disagreed with this decision.
