Note : Though issued in the name of Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II, this gold Mohur was struck under the authority of the Maratha Confederacy during their control of Delhi. Delhi was occupied by the Marathas five times, with the final occupation (1788–1803) ending after the Second Anglo-Maratha War.
