Travancore, Bala Rama Varma II (ME 1101-1126/1924-1949 AD), Silver ½ Chitra Rupee, ME 1114 (1938 AD), Obv: a conch-shell (shankh) encircled by a wreath and circular Malayalam legend “thiruvithamkoor arra Roopa Chitra”, Rev: English legends, “1114” (Kollam Era date) & “CHITRA 1/2 RUPEE” within a spray and circular English legends “BALA RAMA VARMA”& “TRAVANCORE” around, (KM # 67), superb mint luster with hints of toning, original gleam visible, graded & slabbed by NGC as MS65, Very Rare in this grade.
