Accompanying him was Zakariya Khan, the Nawab of Punjab. Throughout their journey, the Persian convoy faced continuous harassment from Sikh guerrilla fighters. Upon reaching Sarhind before crossing the Sutlej River into Punjab, Nadir Shah halted his march. There, Zakariya Khan presented him with the promised tribute. It is believed that a rare coin was minted during this encampment, distinct from Nadir Shah's usual currency. This coin lacks the customary 'Hast Sultan' couplet and instead bears the inscription ‘Sikka Mubarak Sahib Qiran Nadir Shah Badshah’ in the nominative. On the reverse side, it deviates from the typical 'Julus' formula and features the invocation ‘Khallada Allah Mulkahu wa Sultanahu’. Reflecting the mutual desire for peace, the mint-name includes the epithet 'Dar al-Aman' (“Abode of Peace”), a distinction reserved exclusively for Sarhind in India.<o:p></o:p>
