Pre-Stamp Cover, Letter folded as Cover, 12 Annas, 1840, Tirhoot to Calcutta, with a three-compartment rectangular Red dispatch seal&nbsp;&ldquo;TIRHOOT|&nbsp;1840 December 13th | Paid 12As.&rdquo;, value 12 Annas and date 13th are hand endorsed, this rectangular seal has all three compartments closed, it is unrecorded in Giles. Another Red rectangular cancellation seal of two lines&nbsp;&#39;GPO 1840&#39; and a Black seal &#39;AM&#39; is clearly visible. Addressed to&nbsp;&quot;Messrs Bagshaw and Co. Calcutta&quot;, good condition, Extremely&nbsp;Rare.
