Pre-Stamp Cover, 6 Pies, 1847, Calcutta to Madras,&nbsp;letter in Gujarati script, back side of the cover bears a Red ink rounded corners rectangular seal of three-line compartment citing &ldquo;CALCUTTA | 1847 February 9 | Bearing 6 Pies&rdquo;, value in mss in black color, with a Red rectangular seal &ldquo;G.P.O. | 1847 FEB 18&rdquo; and a Black square seal &ldquo;A.M.&rdquo;. It was sent to &ldquo;Girdhardass Govindass | PP at Madras&rdquo;, the rounded corners curved-rectangular seal is unrecorded by Giles, signs of usual torn, good condition, Rare.
