Pre-Stamp Cover, 1841, Belgaum to Madras, Letter posted from Belgaum address to Madras having three-line postmark on front of the cover. Postage paid value 4 As. Red ink dispatched postmark in the box form in three-line, that reads as “BELGAUM | 1841 JUL 6 | Paid 4As”. On the back of the cover two-line rectangular box postmark in Red ink, “G.P.O. | 1841 JUL.12” and A. M. postmark in Black ink within a square, exhibit cover is in excellent condition, Very Rare.
