Note:&nbsp;Date 753 AH was Ikhtiyar ud din&rsquo;s last ruling year as he was ousted by Shams ud-din Ilyas Shah who also issued coins from the Sunargaon mint in the same year. 

Ikhtiyar ud din Ghazi Shah is known only from his coins whereon he calls himself Sultan bin Sultan and, on this basis, it is suggested that he was the son of Fakhrud din Mubarak Shah, his predecessor on whose death he ascended the throne of Sunargaon in AH 750 (AD 1349-50). He then ruled over Sunargaon for about three years till AH 753 (AD 1352-53).
