MADURKR", Obv: conjoined busts of King George V & Queen Mary facing left, within a floral wreath, Rev: an elaborate Farsi legend that translates as “The Durbar of George V, Emperor of India, Master of the British lands”, normal Medal without a ring, minature Medal with ring & ribbon, engraved on the edge "G.V. MADURKAR SUB-INSPR C.I. SIMLA", 37.56 & 8.77g, 39.06 & 18.31x31.35mm, (MYB 2007 # 312), about extremely fine, Very Rare.
Note: It was issued in commemoration of the Delhi Durbar held in December 1911 to honour King-Emperor George V. Officers and other ranks of the British and Indian armed forces received these awards for exemplary service. There were approximately 30,000 pieces produced.
