Note: This is an extremely important gold fanam bearing two Vaishnavite symbols, theVaraha and the Vadakalai. This depiction shows strong influence of God Venkateshwara on the rulers of Vijayanagara Empire. In 2016, a similar coin was sold in an Indian auction for Rs. 2.4L.
