Gulshanabad urf Nasik: It is a histrically, Mythologically, socially important and cultural city, known for the temples on the banks of the Godavari and it has also been important city for the holy sites of the Hindus and Muslim religion, in the early 14th century it came under the Sultans of Delhi at Daulatabad and it was incorporated in the Bahamani Kingdom. From the Bahamanis it was passed to the Nizam Shahis of Ahmednagar in the 16th century.
