<div>Obv.: Bare head bust of William IIII to right, English legends WILLIAM IIII KING. Large dot appears after the date 1835, incuse R.S.&nbsp;on the truncation. R.S. is the initials of Robert Saunders, the Mint Master of the Calcutta Mint from January 1826 to January 1836.&nbsp;</div>

<div>Deep orange gold, nearly full wire rims. Choice eye appeal. The most popular rarity of the series. Well preserved in Brilliant Mint condition. Minting ofDouble Mohurs&nbsp;began before the end of 1835 and British Government st issued these Mohurs into circulation from 1 January 1836.</div>

<div>Please Note: There is one chemical spot (probably the chemical which was used to furnish / make the PROOF coins) in between 1 and 8 of 1835 which is hardly visible without the use of the normal magnifying glass and it has not harmed the condition of the coin surface in any way. And it could be very easily removed but to keep the original condition of the coin we have not even touched it and kept it as original. Extremely Rare at any condition. It is visible only by using Macro Lens or Macro Coin Reading Camera.</div>
