Lahore was s a flourishing city in Punjab (now in Pakistan) which was the capital of the Subah in Akbar's reign. It was one of his prolific mints from which various coins were issued in all the three metals. Akbar's earliest known misqals (Shahrukhis) were also issued from Lahore.
