Note: For the first seven years of his reign, Mubarak Shah issued no coins in his own name, instead continuing the posthumous coinage of Firuz Tughluq and Muhammad bin Firuz. Interestingly, both the posthumous gold and silver tankas of Muhammad bin Firuz use the title 'Abul Muhammad' (Father of Laudable Qualities), a title not seen on his coins during his lifetime.

Coins bearing Mubarak Shah's name are extremely difficult to encounter, and Goron and Goenka classify it as RRR on the rarity scale.
