Humayun (AH 950-956 /1543-1549 AD), Qandahar Mint, Silver Shahrukhi, "Ghazi" type, Obv: Arabic legend The Kalima Shahada in the circular linear border &amp; the four Caliphs' names at the outer margin, Rev: Arabic legend "Nasir-ud-din Muhammad Humayun Ghazi" within a mehrabi cartouche frame, “Sultan-ul-azam (Khaqan-al-Mukarram, khuld Allahu ta'ala) mulkahu wa sultanahu” &amp; "zarb Qandahar" almost completely visible at the bottom margin, 4.64g, 25.20mm, no test mark,&nbsp;some flatness, XF-AU, Extremely Rare.&nbsp;

Note: Initially attributed to Qunduz on the basis of its calligraphic pattern and style, this type can now be confidently reassigned to Qandahar following further research and the study of additional specimens.Fewer than five specimens of this particular variety are presently known in the public domain, and none bears a visible date. The type remains absent from most major collections and standard references, making it an exceptionally rare and important addition to the known silver coinage of Humayun from Qandahar.
