Note: The 1841 Victoria Queen Mohur with the serifed “4” in the date is regarded as one of the most difficult varieties to acquire among the William Wyon-designed gold Mohurs of British India, in any grade. Rarely encountered in the market, this variety remains absent from many collections, particularly in such exceptional grade. The present specimen is among the most attractive examples of the type we have handled, displaying exceptional quality and a rich, deep golden lustre across both surfaces.
