Note:&nbsp;Krishna Kishora Manikya, son of Rama Ganga Manikya, ascended the throne following the death of his uncle and was formally invested as Raja on 10th May 1830. The investiture was conducted by Mr. Thomson, judge and magistrate of Tipperah, acting under the orders of the Governor-General, who presented him with the Sanad of investiture and Khilat. At his installation, Krishna Kishora paid Nazarana to the British Government valued at Rs. 63.5, in the form of three gold coins - two of his own coinage - and sixteen silver tankas.<o:p></o:p>Having married the daughter of the Raja of Assam in 1822, all his coins bear the names of queens. Remarkably, the coinage includes the names of six queens, all dated Saka 1752, likely struck at the installation ceremony, as indicated by the use of three different obverse dies. Coins bearing the names of some queens are considerably rarer, adding a fascinating dimension to his numismatic legacy. &nbsp;We have not offered this in the past!<o:p></o:p>
