Note: This cover is a fascinating offering as it has the advertisement of Afghan Stamps &amp; Coins with its logo on this cover, it is an interesting observation to notice that there was a proper hobby store around a century ago in Peshawar city that is currently in Pakistan. It was sent from K.C. Krishen and Company, Ram Chowk, Peshawar City.

JAN. 1951 | CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS | CALCUTTA |&rdquo; in violet colour, along with a map of lower India highlighting &ldquo;Calcutta&rdquo; within the seal and a round dispatch seal as &ldquo;CALCUTTA G.P.O. | 13 JAN 51&rdquo;, excellent condition, Rare.

Note: The Geological Survey of India (GSI) was established in 1851 and has been supplying scientific information to the government since that time. The Centenary Celebrations seal on the cover commemorates the completion of 100 years of this organization (GSI) in 1951.
