Pair of British and Republic India Silver Medals (2), about extremely fine, Scarce.

a: King George VI, India General Service Medal (1936-37), Awarded to "Naik Parma Nand", Clasp "North West Frontier 1936-37", Obv: King George VI facing left, legend around “GEORGIVS VI D.G:BR:OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP:”, Rev: a tiger above a mountainous landscape, legend “INDIA”, bar with clasp “NORTH WEST FRONTIER 1936-37”, engraved on the edge “C-3246 A-NAIK PARMA NAND.I.H.C.”, 41.72g, 36.33mm, (MYB 2007 # 175).

b: For Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (1957-70), Awarded to "NK. Parma Nand", Obv: national emblem and motto below, Rev: within a floral wreath "FOR LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT" inscribed in circular form and "दीर्घ सेवा और सदाचरण के लिए" in Hindi in the center, with bar, engraved on the edge "4130233 NK. PARMA NAND, KUMAON R.", 37.72g, 36.22mm, (Edward & Rana # 1061.100).
