For example, the month of Farwardin (March 10–April 11, Julian calendar) featured Aries, while Ardibihisht (April 11–May 11) bore Taurus. Over the next four months, coins were minted with the constellations of Gemini (Khurdad), Cancer (Tir), and Leo (Amardad).<o:p></o:p>This inventive coinage was first struck in Ahmadabad, where Jahangir was residing at the time.
