Error Notes of Gandhi Notes, Shalimar Notes, Republic India Notes.

Republic India, 2019, Error 500 Rupees, Star * (Replacement) Series, Signed by Shaktikanta Das, Error: Ink smudge error, smeared ink spread on the obverse, L Inset, CC Prefix, S. No. 4CC*106406, fold, stains, graffiti, graded by PMCS as 35 Very Fine, Very Rare.

Note: Banknotes that exhibit defects or errors during the printing stage are typically replaced at the currency printing presses with new banknotes featuring the same number, accompanied by a star mark positioned between the prefix and the serial number. The presence of errors in Star/Replacement banknotes is intriguing, as these replacements were introduced to prevent the circulation of error banknotes from the currency printing press.
