Interestingly, this name does not appear on any known coin. This mint is categorized among the Royal Camp mints of the Mughal emperors, also known as ‘Urdu’. It appears under three variant names: Urdu (Camp), Urdu Zafar Qarin (Camp of Victory), and Urdu dar rah-i-Dakhan (Camp on the road to Deccan).According to Liddle, the earliest recorded coin from Urdu Zafar Qarin dates to AH 984, a period reflecting Akbar's extensive empire and military triumphs in regions like Rajputana, Bengal, and Orissa. These coins were minted until AH 989, with additional notations appearing later for Alf (AH 1000) and Alf-wa-Ahd (AH 1001). These rare coins symbolize Akbar's strategic and administrative prowess, representing a pivotal era in Mughal numismatic history.
