Note: A remarkable error banknote of the 2000 Rupees denomination, issued only for a limited period between 2016 and 2018, this note holds special significance as the last batch of 2000 Rupees was printed in 2018. In 2023, the RBI recalled this denomination, removing it from general circulation. While still legal tender, it is no longer in circulation. This particular banknote displays a highly unusual error with extra paper on both the left and bottom sides. Additionally, two digits from the serial number of another note are visible on the extra paper along the left side. The note has retained its nearly uncirculated condition, indicating that it did not circulate extensively.
