Humayun's authority during this period was primarily limited to Delhi, Agra, and parts of Punjab, with Mughal control remaining tenuous until Akbar and his army consolidated power in subsequent years. Narnol, situated approximately 75 miles southwest of Delhi, held significant strategic importance during this era.<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;The year 963 AH commenced on November 16, 1555.
