It showcases vibrant colors with a pleasing eye appeal. Printed by Water-low & Sons in London for India's largest and richest princely state, Hyderabad, which was permitted to issue its own currency until India's independence and reunification, these high-grade banknotes are extremely popular worldwide and are becoming increasingly rare. A true rarity, this specimen is one of the few issued by the bank that went directly into private treasuries, never entering circulation.
