Note: This type was attributed to Kuninda by A M Shastri; however, Devendra Handa suggests that it was derived from the Yaudheyas, and Pieper attributes them to the Yaudheyas as well. This type of coin is extremely rare and only known from a single hoard found in the early 1980s. As per Shastri, the Apasmara-purusha motif is associated with Shiva&#39;s iconography. The Yaudheyas copper coins are inscribed with the name &#39;Chitreshwara,&#39; which is the name of the clan&#39;s tutelary deity.
