In addition to their high quality, weight standards, and intricate designs, coins from his period are known in a variety of denominations with interesting names. The Tuzuk-e-Jahangiri records the following names for fractional denominations; Gold coins of half tola as &#39;Nurani&#39;, meaning &#39;the light&#39; and quarter tola as &#39;Riwazi&#39;. The silver coins (sikkas) of 10 tola were named &#39;Kaukab-i-bakht&#39;, meaning &#39;star of good luck&#39;, 5 tola as &#39;Kaukab-i-sa&#39;d&#39; meaning &#39;star of auspiciousness&#39;, 1 tola as &#39;Jahangiri&#39;, and &#39;Half Jahangiri as Sultani&#39; meaning &#39;The Royal&#39;.
