Republic India, 1981, Proof Set, PIE-FORT (Piedfort) Coin, International Year of the Child, Silver 100 Rupees, Bombay Mint, 58.32g, (RB # 90), in immaculate condition with original packing in an acrylic case with outer cover and certificate, the coin is in mirror glaze cameo-like finish, proof, Extremely Rare.

Note: “PIEFORT” or “PIEDFORT” are coins struck in a higher weight standard than the regular issue, on a thick planchet. This commemorative issue is the only type issued by the Indian Government Mint so far.
