Note:&nbsp;The province of &nbsp;Sira, located now in the Tumkur district of Karnataka, holds an important position in the history of the Mughals in the Deccan. After the conquest of the Bijapur Sultanate by Aurangzeb in 1684, it became the headquarters of Balaghat.
