Note: This is the first silver rupee from the Elichpur mint to appear in any auction. It is also interesting to note that coins from Aurangzeb&#39;s 50th regnal year that correspond to the Hijri year 1117 are hitherto unknown. As per recorded sources, only one other coin, that is attributed to his 49th regnal year, is known from the same Hijri year.
