British India, King George V, Uniface 5 Rupees, Initial ‘L’ for Lahore Circle, Dated 31 July 1916, Signed by M.M.S. Gubbay, Red Underprint, ED Prefix, S. No. ED71 958326, (KJ & RR # 2A.1.5D.1), folds, stains, holes, minor edge tears & taped, choice very fine, Extremely Rare.

Note: A beautiful and rare type from the difficult Lahore circle banknote in its original shape and colour. An excellent opportunity for the advanced collectors. This is the first time we are offering this type after a number of years.
