Note: The gold coins attributed to this ruler typically feature five lions; however, this remarkable variety bears the Kannada legend “Ja ga de”. It is attributed to Jagadekamalla based on similar symbols and legends observed on coins documented by H. Krishna Sastri, who identified variations reading “Jaga,” “Jagade,” and “Jagadeka.”

Of particular importance is the presence of a trident punch symbol, previously unpublished and recorded here for the first time. Additionally, the lion punch symbol on the reverse is also noted on a coin for the first time, making this an exceptionally rare.
