The battle was fought between Babur's forces and the Rajput ruler Rana Sanga of Mewar. To commemorate his success and assert his authority in the region, Babur began counter-stamping coins with this title. These counter-stamped coins serve as historical markers of Babur's triumph and consolidation of power. Rahman does not list this type in his book.
