Kushan Dynasty, Huvishka (160-190 AD), Gold Dinar, Mao (Lunar Diety) Type, Obv: diademed and crowned half-length bust left, holding mace-sceptre in one hand and the hilt of his sword with the otherhand bactrian legend around þAONANOþAO OOηþKI KOþANO (King of Kings Huvishka Kushan), Rev: lunar diety standing left with arm extended, lunar ’horns’ at shoulders, cradling filleted and globe-tipped scepter in left arm, and holding hilt of sword, tamgha in field and legend 'MAO'in the right field, 7.09g,19.50mm, (Gobl # 148), about very fine, Very Rare.
