Note: This coin is unique as the only one issued by Akbar featuring human figures. It closely resembles the Akbar silver half rupee housed in Bharat Kala Bhawan, with a skillfully rendered Persian inscription in Nastaliq style. This specimen appears to have been crafted in the eighteenth century as a homage to the original. Emperor Akbar, renowned for translating the Ramayana into Persian and presenting copies to his important ministers, also minted gold and silver coins depicting Lord Rama and Sita during Ramanavami.
