Agra was always the important place as it was the capital of Mughal Empire, later it was renamed as Akbarabad for marking the glories of Akbar the great. The normal mohurs and rupees of Shah Jahan II were struck at Akbarabad using the&nbsp;dies&nbsp;which were broader than the planchet. But this specimen clearly shows the dotted border circle around on both sides.

Rafi-ud-Daula Shah Jahan II was the elder brother of Rafi-ud-Darjat and&nbsp;was one of several contenders who claimed the throne upon the death of Farrukhsiyar.&nbsp;He was installed as emperor by the sayyid brothers who killed Rafi-ud-Darjat. He was a mere puppet and was removed shortly after his installation as emperor. He assumed the title Shah Jahan I and ruled as Mughal emperor for three months and twenty eight days only. His gold coins are all very rare, much rarer than those of Rafi ud-Darjat (Notes from Asar-us-Sanadeed, Vol-1 and page 246/47)
