The normal mohurs and rupees of Shah Jahan II were struck at Akbarabad using the&nbsp;dies&nbsp;which were broader than the planchet. But this specimen clearly shows the dotted border circle around on both sides.

Rafi-ud-Daula Shah Jahan II was the elder brother of Rafi-ud-Darjat and&nbsp;was one of several contenders who claimed the throne upon the death of Farrukhsiyar.&nbsp;He was installed as emperor by the sayyid brothers who killed Rafi-ud-Darjat. He was a mere puppet and was removed shortly after his installation as emperor. He assumed the title Shah Jahan I and ruled as Mughal emperor for three months and twenty eight days only. His gold coins are all very rare, much rarer than those of Rafi ud-Darjat (Notes from Asar-us-Sanadeed, Vol-1 and page 246/47)
