1875, Victoria Queen, Silver Rupee, Calcutta Mint, A1/I/no mm, occurrence of double '8' in the date, top stroke of numeral '5' is long, (Unlisted in PR & GK), 11.44g, ghost impression, washed otherwise about extremely fine, Extremely Rare.

Note: Traces of an extra "8" clearly visible just below the "8” in “1875". This may have occurred as that the die engraver would have initially drawn it incorrectly and, after realising his mistake, erased it from the die to have it engraved at its proper location. Thus, the impression was left as an under-type. An important offering for British India collectors.
