Note: A highly unusual and exceptionally rare printing error on a vintage 50 Rupees banknote bearing the signature of Bimal Jalan, and reportedly only the second known example of this error for the type. The reverse is invertedly printed, with the colour-coding marks of the paper sheet appearing prominently within the design. The obverse further displays a distinctive plain area at the bottom, possibly representing the reverse side of the colour-key sheet.A remarkably elusive and fascinating error, offering a rare opportunity for specialist banknote error collectors to acquire an unusual and scarcely recorded production variety.
