Note: These coins were likely minted in Kadi District, approximately 50 kilometers northwest of Ahmedabad, during the early 19th century under the rule of the rebellious Gaekwad ruler Malhar Rao Gaekwad. Kadi coins typically bear counterstrikes on Baroda state copper coins. However, this specimen is exceptional as it is not counterstruck on any other coin, making it extremely rare.
