Note:&nbsp;This specimen presents a notable anomaly within Awadh coinage, reported here for the first time. The coin of Wajid Ali Shah exhibits a clear overdate of Hijri year AH 1270 on AH 121X, which is fully visible. This overdate should not be mistaken for a die re-engraving anomaly. It remains unrecorded&nbsp;for this type in Awadh coinage.<o:p></o:p>
