Azam Shah (AH 1118-1119/1707 AD), Surat Mint, Silver Rupee, AH 1119/Ahad RY (re-engraved), "Ba Daulat-O-Jah" Couplet, Obv:&nbsp;Persian legend 'sikka zad dar jahan ba daulat-o-jah, bad shah-e-mumalik Azam Shah (complete ruler name with title visible)', sana hijri 1119, Rev:&nbsp;Persian legend 'sana ahad julus-e-ashraf' and 'zarb Surat' at bottom, 11.63g, 24.59mm,&nbsp;(KM # 332.5), no test marks, sharp &amp; bold stirke, XF-AU,&nbsp;Extremely Rare.

Note:&nbsp;The re-engraved “Ahad” on this coin indicates later die reworking rather than an original engraving. It appears that the die engraver initially inscribed the numeral 1, representing the regnal year, and later, upon recognizing the error, re-engraved it as the word Ahad. This specimen also preserves the complete title and name of the ruler, making it an exceptionally interesting example of Mughal die practice and early minting corrections.<o:p></o:p>
