Shah Jahan (AH 1037-1068 /1628-1658 AD),&nbsp;Burhanpur Mint by style, Silver Nisar 1/20 Rupee (Suki),&nbsp;“Kalima” type, Obv: Arabic legend The Kalima Shahada, Rev: Persian legend&nbsp;"(Shahjahan) Badshah Ghazi" &amp; "zarb Buhanpur" off flan at the bottom, 0.51g, 10.30mm (Unlisted in KM),&nbsp;about extremely fine, Extremely Rare.

Note:&nbsp;This tiny and exquisitely struck 1/20 Nisar Rupee (Suki) of Shah Jahan features the Kalima on its obverse but lacks the word “Nisar.” Unlike the larger Nisar coins traditionally scattered during courtly ceremonies, fractional coins of this type were likely intended for special ceremonial or religious presentations,&nbsp;possibly for distribution at mosques rather than for public scattering,&nbsp;rather than general distribution or perhaps used for presentations at Mosques. Though not used for scattering, they still functioned as nisars, making this a rare and fascinating example of Mughal ceremonial coinage.<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>
