Noorjahan (AH 1033–1037 / 1623–1627 AD) Lahore Mint, Silver Rupee, &nbsp;AH 1035 / 21 RY, “Fuzodah” Couplet, Obverse: Persian legend “za naam shah Jahangir ta shuda pur Noor” with regnal year 21, celebrating the emperor in the name of Noorjahan, Reverse: Persian legend “Fuzodah Noorjahan, ruye sikka-e Lahore”, featuring the complete “Zarb Lahore 1035 Hijri year” at the bottom, 11.40 g, 21.23 mm, (KM #169.1), both sides are heavily decorated with intricate floral motifs, test mark,centrally struck, nice eye appeal, XF-AU, Exceedingly Rare.

Note: This exquisite rupee, issued under the authority of Empress Noor Jahan, is a rare personal issue, featuring poetic Persian inscriptions and elegant floral designs that reflect both imperial power and refined artistry. As Emperor Jahangir's health declined, Noor Jahan became the de facto ruler, administering the empire from Lahore. This coin is distinguished by its unique Fazudah couplet, making it the only known coinage featuring this couplet. Its superb preservation and striking artistry render it highly desirable, and this type has not been offered in auction sales for a long time.<o:p></o:p>
