Note:&nbsp;This unlisted silver ½ tanka of Shams-ud-din Iltutmish, struck in the name of the Abbasid Caliph al-Mustansir Billah, is a previously unpublished variety not recorded in Goron &amp; Goenka. The coin is finely struck, prominent for its full Kalima, complete caliphal titulature, and sharply defined double-square margin design.<o:p></o:p>Part of a recent series of discoveries from Iltutmish’s reign, this rare and highly unusual type presents a unique opportunity for collectors of Delhi Sultanate coinage to acquire a newly recorded issue of exceptional historical and numismatic significance.<o:p></o:p>
