Note: In AH 726 (AD 1326), Muhammad bin Tughluq reinstated Ghiyath ud din Bahadur as governor of East Bengal in Sunargaon. Two years later, Bahadur issued gold and silver coins bearing both his name and Muhammad's, symbolizing his allegiance. Instead, it matches the reverse of a regular issue attributed to Ghiyath ud din Bahadur from the Shahr Lakhnauti mint (B109, p. 163). This specimen represents a joint issue of the two rulers but features a unique die combination, appearing for the first time, with reverse dies from different mints-Sunargaon and Lakhnauti, an exceptionally rare occurrence. An intriguing and significant numismatic example.
