Vijayanagara Empire, Aravidu Dynasty, Thirumalaraya (1565-1578 AD), Gold 1/2 Varaha, Obv: on raised seat meant to be throne, sri rama is seated wearing tall crown or kirita, with sita seated by his side to the left and lakshmana standing behind the throne to the right, lakshmana has strung bow on his right shoulder and his hands are joined in devotion, rama's right hand is in abhayamudra, Rev: three line nagari legend with interlinear rules Sri ti / ru ma la ra / ya lu, 1.6gm, & 9.68mm, (Dr. M. Girijapati  # 307), about very fine.
